Web Tools Terms of Use

This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Japanese version governs.
These Terms govern the use of the web tools "Date Poll" and "Poll" (together, the "Tools") provided by Hoot Hall LLC (the "Company"). By using the Tools, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms. The Minerva MEET mobile app is governed by itsseparate Terms of Use.
1. The Tools
The Tools are free services that let anyone create a date-coordination or poll page without an account, and let anyone holding the page URL answer it.
2. No account; eligibility
No account is required. Minors should use the Tools with the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. The creator's responsibility (admin URL)
The admin URL issued at creation is the creator's responsibility to keep safe. Anyone holding the admin URL can close, reopen, or delete the page. A lost admin URL cannot be reissued.
4. Prohibited conduct
- Posting content that violates the law or public order and morals
- Including a third party's personal information without their consent
- Posting defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise rights-infringing content
- Spam, advertising, automated mass creation, or other abusive use
- Interfering with the operation of the Tools
5. Data retention and deletion
Created pages and their answers are automatically deleted 60 days after creation. The Company may delete pages that violate these Terms without notice.
6. No warranty; limitation of liability
The Tools are provided as-is, and the Company does not warrant their completeness, accuracy, or availability. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the Company is not liable for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Tools. Where mandatory law (including the Japanese Consumer Contract Act) applies, its provisions prevail.
7. Changes to these Terms
The Company may amend these Terms. Amended Terms take effect when posted on this page.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court has exclusive agreed jurisdiction over disputes relating to the Tools.
