Minerva MEET opens a free one-year Team Plan monitor program for 30 dance and sports teams
High school, college and adult teams in any country can apply. The app keeps practice videos, schedules, attendance and team messages in one private group.
Hoot Hall LLC has opened a monitor program for Minerva MEET, its team app for iPhone, iPad and Android. Thirty dance and sports teams will get the app’s Team Plan free for one year. High school and college clubs and adult teams in any country can apply, and applications close as soon as 30 teams are filled.
Why
Teams often share practice videos in group chats, where they get buried under other messages and are hard to find again. Minerva MEET puts video review together with practice schedules, attendance and team messages, in a private, invite-only group that only the team’s members can see.
Key features
- Practice-video review: 0.25× slow motion, frame by frame, mirror view, A–B loop and pinch-to-zoom
- Time-linked comments: add the time to a video comment, and tap it to jump to that moment
- Weekly practice and attendance: add practice once and it repeats every week; attendance is counted in the app, and members who haven’t answered get a reminder with one tap
- Team communication in one place: bulletin board, chat, to-dos and notes
What monitor teams get
The Team Plan (normally $4.99 a month in the US) free for 12 months: videos up to 10 minutes long in 1080p, and up to 100 GB of shared team storage. No credit card is needed, and nothing is charged when the year ends.
